In February I mentioned that my good friend Jon Bellona will be running across the country this summer in honor of American soldiers killed in Iraq. More here.
Jon’s worked tirelessly to get the ball rolling on all fronts: coordinating the run, recruiting volunteers, campaigning for in-kind goods and monetary contributions, and much more. The effort is phenomenal in scope, and Jon as a person is equally incredible.
I’m very pleased that the run will be documented on film. Filmmakers William Gardiner and John McKay will be joining Jon this summer on the run. Here’s a sneak peek:
